A Conveyance of the land in this title and other land dated 1 May 1890 made between (1) Frederick Fairhurst Law and others and (2) James Henry Walker contains the following covenants:- COVENANTS by the said James Henry Walker with the said Frederick Fairhurst Law, Jane Law Erving, George Frederick Law and Arthur Erving Law that he the said James Henry Walker would at his own expense from complete and make good one half of so much of the intended streets shown on the said plan called respectively Clarendon Road and East Street said respectively adjoining the said plot pieces or parcel of land thereby conveyed and would keep the same in repair respectively until the same respectively should be adopted by the Local Board as highways repairable at the public expense And also that no houses or buildings should be erected upon the said plot of land at a distance of less than 9 feet from Clarendon Road aforesaid And also that no houses or buildings should be erected thereon which should be less than £20 a year rateable value And also that he the said James Henry Walker would not use or follow or permit to be used or followed upon the said plot piece or parcel of land or any part thereof or in any house or building to be erected thereon or any part thereof the trade business or employment of a boiler of horse flesh slaughterman butcher soapmaker or soapboiler maker or malter of tallow tallow chandler oilman distiller boiler maker brazier smith or any other offensive noisy or obnoxious trade business or employment nor have the same premises or any part thereof licensed as a beerhouse.
