A Conveyance of the land tinted pink on the filed plan and other land dated 29 September 1887 made between (1) The Governors of the Bounty of Queen Anne (Governors) and (2) Edwin Henry Booth contains the following covenants:- Covenant by the said Edwin Henry Booth with the said Governors that he will form and make gravel ballast and complete with suitable side and channels stones and where shewn in dark pink on the said plan a back road or passageway twelve feet wide over which the owner or owners occupier or occupiers for the time being of the adjoining premises marked on the said plan with the name of Joseph Thompson Esquire and left uncovered shall have a right of way and further that he will keep the said road or passageway in good order and repair until the same be taken over by the Local Authority and that no buildings other than frontages or boundary walls porticoes or bay windows to be at any time thereafter erected by the said Edwin Henry Booth or the owner or owners for the time being of any of the lands thereinbefore conveyed adjoining the Egerton Road aforesaid should extend nearer to the said Egerton Road or the boundary fence thereof than thirty feet And that no buildings except as aforesaid to be thereafter erected by the said Edwin Henry Booth or the owner or owners for the time being of the lands thereinbefore conveyed on the south or south-east side of the Powis Road aforesaid should extend nearer to the said Powis Road or the boundary fence thereof than fifteen feet, Covenants to pay to the Governors the cost of making the said back road when approved by a Surveyor.
