A Conveyance of 73 and 75 Ingleway Avenue dated 2 May 1938 made between (1) Arthur Forte Slater and Henry Frederick Keighley (Vendors) and (2) Arthur Wilson (Purchaser) contains the following covenants:- "THE Purchaser for himself and his successors in Title hereby further covenants with the Vendors as follows:- (a) That there shall not at any time be erected on the said plot of land hereby conveyed more than two dwellinghouses and that the plans of all buildings to be erected or alterations to buildings on the said plot of land shall first be submitted to the Vendors for their approval in writing and no such building shall be erected or alteration made without such approval (b) That he the Purchaser and his successors in Title will not at any time use or permit to be used the said hereditaments for any other purpose than that of private dwellinghouses or company houses and in particular will not use or permit the said premises to be used as a shop or shops or for any trade business or manufacture without the consent in writing of the Vendors first had and obtained (c) That no hoarding or other erection shall at any time be erected or placed or allowed to be on any part of the said plot of land hereby conveyed or any building standing thereon for the purpose of exhibiting any advertisement or notice other than such as relates to the selling or letting of the said hereditaments and that no part of the said hereditaments shall be used for billposting purposes."
