A Conveyance of the land in this title and other land dated 13 November 1920 made between (1) The Reverend David James Stather Hunt (Vendor) (2) John Francis William Deacon, The Reverend David James Stather Hunt, The Reverend Walter Evelyn Gilliett, William Graham Bradshaw (Patrons) (3) The Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England (Commissioners) and (4) Leyland Motors Limited (Purchasers) contains the following covenants:- COVENANT by the Purchasers for themselves and their assigns with the Vendor his successors and assigns and also by way of separate covenant with the Commissioners and their successors in manner following that was to say ................................................ that no building erected upon the said plots pieces or parcels of land thereby conveyed should be used for the sale or consumption on or off the premises of ale beer wine or spirituous or intoxicating liquors nor as or for a brewhouse distillery or other licensed premises (which should include the sale or consumption of wine or spirits on the said premises if used as a club) not for any of the trades or businesses of a melter of tallow soap monger fell monger tripe boiler or tripe seller or other noxious or offensive trade or business AND ALSO that no act matter or thing should be done or permitted upon the said plots pieces or parcels of land that might be or grow to the annoyance nuisance damage or disturbance of the Vendor or any of his tenants or lessees or the neighbourhood. A Conveyance of the land in this title dated 6 August 1925 made between (1) Leyland Motors Housing Society Limited and (2) Frederick Lawrence contains the following covenants:- "the Purchaser hereby for himself and his assigns also covenants with the Society and its assigns the owner and owners for the time being of the adjoining land houses and premises comprised in the scheme under Section 19 (1) of the said Act which the said premises hereby conveyed are part (a) that except with the consent of the Society or if the Society has dissolved of the Local Authority of the District in which the said premises are situate the premises hereby conveyed shall not at any time hereafter be used for any purpose other than that of a private dwellinghouse and (b) that the said premises hereby conveyed shall not be used for any purpose which shall be or become in any way a nuisance or annoyance to the Society or its assigns or the tenants or to the owners or occupiers of any adjoining property"
